Sales reached 442,6 million euros (M€), up 3,4%; strong contribution from Corkflooring Business Unit (BU) (+7,6%).

Net profit attributable to CORTICEIRA AMORIM shareholders rose to 20,104 M€ at year end, up 27,7% when compared to 2005.

EBITDA registered 56 M€, more than doubling first half, driven by growth in Sales and Gross Margin.

The same for growth in EBIT (+27,4%) and EBT (+30,9%).

Fourth quarter sound performance boosted full year activity: Sales (+7,2%),and Net Profit (+64,8%).

In spite of a slowdown in the second half, Gross Margin kept its high performance (48,5%).

4Q05 Sales up 6,2% with cork stoppers up 18%.

12M05 Sales increased 0,3% reaching 428,0 M€, reversing negative deviations of previous Quarters.

CORTICEIRA AMORIM posted a 12M05 EBITDA of 49,5 M€, gaining 5,2% fuelled by a strong 4Q05 (+42%).

Net Profit for 12M05 reached 15,7 M€, an increase of + 3,9%.

Equity to Asset ratio at 40% at year end.

Board of CORTICEIRA AMORIM proposes a dividend of 0.05€ per share, a 43% increase.
